Items in our catalogue are chosen to satisfy the connoisseur collector. Each antique is unique, so the stock is continually changing - visit our site regularly to keep updated on what is on offer. Alternatively, tell us what you are looking for - or receive our free monthly newsletter.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our on-line catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and press the Buy this item button. After you have finished your selection, click on Checkout and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy your order.

All transactions are carried out in UK Pounds Sterling. An on-line curreny conversion calculator is provided for guidance only beneath each product.

We accept various credit/charge/payment cards - a complete list of cards is contained in Credit Card Section, below.

Alternatively, you may pay by cheque, money order or postal order. Please note that all such payments must be in UK pounds sterling for the full amount shown on the receipt. Items will not be despatched until your cheque has been cleared by our bank. We will confirm receipt of your cheque and when the goods are despatched to you.

We may consider allowing staged payments (to a limit of two months) for the items on the website. A non-refundable charge of 1.5% of the cost of the items will be added for this service. Contact us for full details.

Shipping and Handling

A range of shipping agents and methods are employed and these can be found on the ordering pages. Postage and packing is added to the final order value. Shipping methods marked as "no insurance" are sent at the purchaser's risk.

Some countries may charge an import tax or local purchase tax and this is the responsibility of the recipient.

Statutory Rights

When you submit an order, you are making an offer that, if accepted by me, will result in a contract between us. The items purchased are delivered on the express condition that they remain the sole property of TeaAntiques.com Limited until paid for in full.

Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Operation of this site and any purchases made therein are governed by current UK legislation.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally send your order to you within a few business days. International orders are generally received in under 28 days depending on the shipping method chosen.

We deliver to all the countries listed on the Order page. If your country is not listed, then please contact us for more details.

Back Orders

As each item is unique, we only have one stock of each. Therefore, it is possible that the item you order may not be available because it has just been sold. In this case we will contact you to offer alternatives or provide a full refund.

Credit/Charge/Payment Cards and their Security

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Delta and Amercian Express cards through PayPal.

All credit/charge/payment card transactions are processed by PayPal. This means that a Secure Server is used and all transactions that take place between your browser and the server are encrypted. Nobody is able to obtain your card details or other information.

Returns Policy

We understand that buying antiques is a matter of personal taste. Therefore we offer a returns policy so that you may return any goods you find not to your liking. You must email us within 7 working days of receipt to confirm that you are returning goods.

For customers within the EU:

All postage, packing and insurance charges for the returned items will be at your cost and responsibility. Upon receipt of the items in the same condition in which they left us, you will receive within 30 days a full refund.

For customers outside the EU:

Because of the higher shipping charges involved, all shipping charges (e.g. postage, packing, insurance, customs, etc.) for the returned items will be at your cost and responsibility. Upon receipt of the items in the same condition in which they left us, you will receive within 30 days a full refund of the item price (less any charges incurred during shipping).
