A Chamberlain's Worcester, oval teapot lid, decorated in blue and gilt decoration, pattern number 274, c1800.

This lid has a rich cobalt blue border with applied git decoration. there are gilt rose buds positioned in three places around the domed lid.

The oval finial has applied gilt decoration and the lid is marked on the underside with the ''Chamberlains Worcester Warranted 274' mark in red.

The lid is marked on the underside with the ''Chamberlains Worcester Warranted 274' mark in red.

This fine Chamberlain's Worcester teapot lid is in good condition with no chips, cracks repairs or restoration. The perfect lid for a teapot of this pattern that is lacking its lid.
