This circular pottery teapot lid is of a spiral moulded or 'shanked' design and is decorated with blue 'Chantilly' flower or leave sprays. It would date to c1790 and has a circular moulded button finial with blue lines.

This pottery teapot id is in good condition. there are a few tiny areas on the top where the glaze is missing, particularly on the raised spiral moulded lines, but this really is minimal.
