Spode Jug, Oval Canoe Shape With Elegant Gilt Decoration, Marked 'Spode' and Pattern Number '341', c1810-20(p1137)
This is a very elegant canoe shaped oval Spode cream or milk jug, marked 'Spode' and pattern number 341 in orange.
This delightful jug was made at the English Spode factory c1810-20 and the shape is typical of this early nineteenth century period. The Spode factory used this type of mark with the pattern number between c1790-1820. To check price and availability:

The jug is marked 'Spode' and pattern number 341 in orange. The Spode factory used this type of mark with the pattern number between c1790-1820.

This delightful Spode jug is inn excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration. The only extremely minor imperfection is a little wear to the gilding on the very tip of the pouring lip, as shown in the picture below.
